I wouldn't worry about it. You can be a little late for school once in a while.

[Or a lot. Oof. As for what she's been fussing over, he wipes a hand through his own halo. The hologram vinyl pulls the same bullshit hers does, all light and illusion.]

We can't do much about these, by the way. They're just hanging out.

Um... [He waggles a hand.] They're a little like that.

What's the last thing you remember? Just heading to school? No sudden detours, surprises? Just... [mimes a poof.] Here?

You might have done.

[aaaah, what to do here. Also how to phrase things without sounding like a 120 decibel alarm? A grown man chatting up a lost girl like this must seem suspicious to her. Or if it's not, it should be.

Maybe he ought to ease off a little? Give her some room to come back to herself, in whatever fashion that is?]

I think the important thing to know is that you're probably not going to be in huge trouble if you're late this once. And if you're going to take a look around while you're here, stay out of the woods amd the hedge maze. You can get lost real easy in there.

There is a beach with a sort of carnival side attraction, and there's a cafe with cute food. They cut your sandwiches into stars and put teddy bears into the foam of your latte.

You're free to go take a look around. The people here are pretty nice. Weird, but nice.

There is a train. It might not run exactly where you need to go, but, here.

[Gives her directions. You are so cute but you are sure to poof out of this shortly, surely...please don't get lost little koharu]

Not a worry. You take care now, yeah?

And if you get turned around, just swing back here for help. There's loads of people who'd give you a hand.
